The Great Downtown Word Hunt
Date and Time: Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Throughout Downtown
Hey, kids, join us in a hunt to find words hidden … letter by letter … in store windows throughout the downtown core. Pick up an entry form at the Information Tent, or get a head start by downloading the entry form from the Collingwood Downtown web site, at www.collingwooddowntown.com
Completed entries must be returned to the Information Tent by 5:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded in several age categories, up to age 12.
Eat Your Words at the Farmers’ Market
Date and Time: Saturday, September 10th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Location: Corner of Second and Pine Streets
Sample “tasty words” at the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market. The Market vendors will be offering many of your favourite words, such as … ‘pie’, ‘cookies’, ‘jam’, ‘soup’, ‘muffins’, ‘carrots’, ‘potatoes’, ‘coffee’, … Yummy!
